Josh Duhamel and his wife Fergie will be parents one day. Just not yet.
“We’ll go there are some point,” he told PEOPLE at the ShoWest convention in Las Vegas, while promoting his movie Life As We Know It.
In the movie, Duhamel, 37, plays the father to an orphaned child. The experience, though fictional, taught him one very important lesson about fatherhood.
“I learned a lot from these kids,” he said at the Warner Bros. junket. “The amount of patience it takes, I guess, is the big thing.”
He added about Fergie, 34, “Thank god my wife is incredibly patient. I’m patient, but she’s incredibly patient. She’s a great teacher.”
